Welcome to "Tales From A Game Warden"!

Never in his wildest dreams did Sgt. John A. Walker dream that his series of Tales From A Game Warden books would see more than 80,000 copies published.

Born and raised in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, Sgt. Walker spent many years working as a Michigan Conservation Officer. He also spent many years volunteering with the teens in his church. Through the years, he has encountered many unique situations; in his books he recounts many of those stories.

The series of books began as a weekly column in the local newspaper. It has grown enormously since it began years ago.

One of the purposes behind the sale of the books is to continue to help the young people of Sgt. Walker's church. A portion of the purchase price of each book is donated to a scholarship fund. More than $80,000, money generated from the sales of Sgt. Walker's books, has been donated from the scholarship fund to help young people attend college.
